Pricing & Billing FAQ

How does the 14-day free trial work?

After you sign up, you get free unrestricted access to the ROCKET service plan for 14 days. After this trial period, you can switch to another service plan according to your needs.

Can I change my service plan?

On a CLOUD service plan, you can change your service plan whenever you want. On a ON PREMISE service plan, you can change your service plan when your current license key expires.

Can I change my service plan from CLOUD to ON PREMISE or from ON PREMISE to CLOUD?

Yes, you can change from CLOUD to ON PREMISE service plan or from ON PREMISE to CLOUD. We will support the migration of your Cockpit IT Service Manager instance.

What is the "Administration option" on the ON PREMISE service plan?

If you prefer to host your Cockpit IT Service Manager instance (ON PREMISE) but you don't want to manage it (monitor, maintain, update), we can manage it for you. You host, we manage :-)

Who is an operator? Is the licensing "named" or "concurrent"?

An operator is any individual in the company. He or she is usually a team member in the IT department (technicians, administrators, managers, suppliers, etc.). Operators are the main users of Cockpit IT Service Manager, they treat incidents, fulfil service requests, define SLAs, document problems, track and manage devices, etc.
Our licensing is "named", all listed operator accounts are billed.

What are the monitored nodes on the ROCKET service plan?

Any node (servers, network components, databases, SAP solutions, etc.) with active monitoring functionalities is considered a monitored node and is billed. Listed nodes with inactive monitoring functionalities is not billed.
